Chalkboard Paint

So I came across this dog "cutting board" in TJ Maxx a couple weeks ago.

My creative juices started flowing and I thought this would look cute above my dog's food bowls. So I bought a few supplies {chalkboard paint} and went to work!

After I drilled holes in the top I gave it a coat of paint!

I picked up a small roll of cream ribbon from A.C. Moore to hang it and then wrote w/ chalk (duh). I really think my 1st project w/ Chalkboard Paint was a success!

Even the pups love it! =)
