Revamped Mailbox

For some time now, our plain jane mailbox has not been acceptable for my hubby. Here it is below:

So with a three day weekend we had no excuse and headed to Lowe's to get some glossy black spray paint.

And here is our not so plain mailbox with a freshly painted post from some leftover deck paint (before it was the original wood):

I also purchased an 'E' stencil from A.C. Moore

(w/ a 50% coupon -- gotta love it!)

But for now we'll just enjoy the black!
