DIY Fire Pit
After a year of wanting a fire pit I am happy to say we finally have one. Instead of buying one at Lowe's we decided to make our own. The first step was picking out the brick. We decided on this one:
Next we measured out the circle with spray paint and then dug a small hole.
We started with two rows of bricks but decided three looked much better.
Each brick was $1.78 at Lowe's.
We then went to a local landscaping business and purchased tiny stones to fill the bottom. The stones were only .60!
I couldn't resist posting this pic of our cute onlookers :)
And that's it! Just fill it with wood. . .
And we have a fire pit!
It really is a nice addition to our backyard and this fire pit was cheaper than the one we had our eye on! I would call that a win!
