6 Months

6 months already? Is this real life?! 

Weight: 17.8 lbs.!! (80th percentile)

Length: 26.5 inches (77th percentile)

Size (Diapers, Onesies, Etc.): Size 2 diapers. Six and 6/9 month clothing. Wearing 3/6 month shoes and they are still too big for her tiny feet.

Eyes: Blue. It's the 1st thing strangers notice about her.

Hair: Growing like crazy and getting lighter. It now hangs over her ears.

Sleeping: We finally have an established bedtime and it feels so good, 7:30 p.m. is the magic time. And her little body knows when that time comes. I put her in the crib and she's out like a light. Sometimes she fights it (10 minutes max) but falls asleep by soothing herself. She wakes up between 5:30 and 6:30 a.m. to eat and goes back until 8 a.m. and sometimes after! To ease into the morning I go get her and put her in bed with me, she loves it!

Eating: Eats every 4/4.5 hours. Drinks 6 oz. without food. When food is involved she drinks 3 oz. 

Here's our new food schedule: breast milk and formula for breakfast, fruit for lunch and a 3 oz. bottle, breast milk and formula late afternoon, and a veggie and a 3 oz. bottle for dinner. 

Milestones: Started foods this month and it has went really well. It's a little ridiculous how excited I get to introduce a new veggie to her. I'm currently making all her baby food and it hasn't been a pain at all. I make a bunch in bulk and freeze them in ice cube trays so I can pop them out as needed. Harlow had her 1st big snow. Doing really well in the nursery at church, I haven't been called out yet! She said her first word, Mama. Completely sitting up on her own.

Loves: Avocados, carrots, green beans, apples, bananas and prunes. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Still loving bath time, being tickled, strolling, napping with mama, and being out and about.

Hates: Being constipated (tmi I know), peas, cleaning her face after she eats.

Words/Sounds: Mama!! She also says "hey!"

Nicknames: Lolo, Lo.
